Built on Tradition
Netastovan was founded in 2022 in Klaksvík, inspired by the original “Netastovan,” a name that dates back to before 1960. We continue this proud local tradition with a forward-looking approach and a global perspective.
From the beginning, our mission has been clear: to produce reliable, high-quality trawl gear tailored to the needs of professional fishing vessels in the North Atlantic. What started with bottom trawls for pair trawlers and vessels operating in the Barents Sea and around Greenland has expanded to include shrimp trawls, with pelagic trawls currently in development.

We work closely with each vessel and operator to understand their unique needs, from the first design sketch to delivery and long-term support.

Netastovan is powered by a skilled and dedicated team, and is the only supplier of Bridon in the Faroe Islands. We serve vessels across the Faroes, Greenland, and Denmark, with plans to expand into new regions in the near future.
